Bypass

Bypass is a collection of photographs demonstrating how easily you can be misled by notions of success. Through graphic and abstract textures, these images illuminate the truth behind how institutions can detour around failure. I want this series to highlight the mundane mess in our everyday lives and how we disregard this. Beginning this project focused around assumptions through still life, I enjoy how this has advanced to mimicking the façade around establishing your identity. This work slots into today’s society of illusions, imitations and intrusion.
